Water Pressure Back To Normal, County Says

Water pressure dropped dangerously low yesterday in western Malibu.
County waterworks officials report that they had problems …. while they were working on a fire hydrant along P C H west of Pepperdine University.
A pump did not work as expected.
Water pressure dropped in the western half of the city … generally west of Puerco Canyon … yesterday late in the afternoon.
Te problem was fixed in the early evening.
County water officials tell K B U U news that the lack of pressure did not affect the amount of water stored in tanks.
Nor did it affect the water quality.
