You may have spotted a traffic jam of sorts on Pacific Coast Highway at Point Dume on Saturday,.
The man who runs a tree care service … Jesse Montoya .. was giving away free trees.
And not just free trees.
Free shrubs.
Free bushes.
All sorts of plants.
5 thousand free trees and plants… given away on the side of P C H oin Malibu.
Why???
And how does he afford it?

“For every hundred dollars I made from every client, I take a dollar out, and I put this in a little bucket to provide for these retreats. I started this about five years ago, due to the drought.
“We did one when the fire was over in Santa Paula, when it hit Santa Paula, and now we did another one here, here in Malibu, because of the fire.”
