Tomorrow is … of course … the 4th of July.
Malibu will continue it’s decades long traditions of neighborhood parades and firework shoots.
Nothing official … big or citywide is ever planned here … given the reality that it would just attract millions of people from over the hill.
There’s still some confusion as to whether the Malibu Colony fireworks shoot will happen or not.
Firework shows are planned at Paradise Cove and Broad Beach … both paid for by subscriptions.
Both launched from barges off the coast.
June gloom will continue to at least Thursday or Friday … and we may see the traditional Malibu coastal fog and clouds gum up tomorrow night’s firework shows.
The campground at Malibu Creek State Park may or may not be reopened … California State Parks has not announced a decision on that yet.
