As scheduled… the City of Malibu conducted its emergency notification test yesterday at midday. Did you get yours?
Here at the radio station … our FioS phones and Verizon cell phones … went off …
Plus our email accounts … all got the alarms as scheduled.

“This is a test of the City of Malibu’s emergency notification system”
The voice of city manager Reva Feldman.
“This is only a test.”
Cellphones and landlines registered for phones registered in Zuma Beach and the western end of the city got this message at around noon.
“Again .. this is only a test.”
No indications of any misfires … but the test is designed to find problems.
The city is analyzing the results … we’ll keep you posted.
