Sort Of A Soap Opera On The Planning Commission Is Over, New Commissioner Named

Last night … it more than a bit awkward.
Former city planning commissioner Kraig Hill appeared twice at the city council meeting’s microphones last night … to complain about being let go as a planning commissioner by city council member Mikke Pierson.
Hill directed addressed Pierson to complain that he was blindsided.

“When either of us had any advance concerns about specific items we would speak on it – and never did you say ‘hey, you’re thinking about this all wrong.’ ”
Pierson did not go into details last night on what specifically totally random naughty when it happened just firing totally random no idea what it happened I’m sitting here and watch the fire thank you byeled him to the remove Hill from the planning commission.
Last night … Pierson told Big Rock residents they should not feel slighted that he removed their neighbor … Kraig Hill … from the panel.

City councilman Mikke Pierson.
Earlier … he said Kraig Hill had been scaring people who appeared before him at planning commission meetings.
Hill said he was mainly in applying the law and science.
And he complained that his supporters were not allowed to speak before Pearson let him go.
But state law allows a city council member to appoint whomever he or she wants.
And last night … Pierson appointed the new planning commissioner.
David Weil … a La Costa beach attorney and resident of Malibu for 60 years … as.
Not much known about David Weil.
He is certainly not a familiar face in the circles of City Hall issues.
Weil is a member of the La Costa Homeowners Association.
