Round-Up Cancer Trial Starts In SF, Chem Was Appllied By MRCA

Lawyers for a school groundskeeper dying of cancer have opened their trails again Monsanto … the maker of RoundUp … a weed killer sold and used around the world .. including by the M R C A in Puerco Canyon.
Dewayne Johnson claims Roundup likely caused his deadly non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Johnson was a school maintenance worker who sprayed large quantities of Roundup for two years at his job at a San Francisco Bay Area school district.
His lawyer told the jury in San Francisco yesterday … that Johnson read the label carefully … followed instructions and even called the company after developing a rash.
But he was never warned it could cause cancer.
Monsanto’s lawyer said there is overwhelming evidence that Roundup and similar products do not cause cancer.
This is the first trial in California over alleged cancer caused by RoundUp.
The city of Malibu has banned the use of Roundup on its public property …
But the M R C A has been caught spraying Puerco Canyon Road with that weedkiller … raising objections from the city.
