No Official Word On Why Zuma Jay Handcuffed As House Raided

The L A County District Attorney is not answering any major questions today about why it raided the house and surf shop owned by Malibu city councilman Jefferson Wagner.
More on that in just a minute …
But first … the councilman’s domestic partner says she and Wagner were rousted in the pre-dawn raid … and forced to stand in their nightclothes … in the cold outdoors for an hour … while their property was secured.
Candace Brown says their house was trashed by the investigators … and they could not communicate as their cellphones were confiscated.
In an email to KBUU news … Candace Brown called the experience “the worst experience ever.”
Here are her words … as voiced by a KBUU volunteer.
NEWSCART 77559 CANDACE BROWN : QQQ WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
“The ‘cops’ refused to answer questions or show us the warrant for hours, while they trashed the house. Sooo many of them…
“For the first hour, we had to sit outside on the concrete, freezing, while they searched.
“I wore only a lightweight robe. Nothing else.
“Jefferson in handcuffs.
“I continued to beg to see warrant.
“Worst experience ever.”
Those are the words of Candace Brown … describing the raid on the house owned by Jefferson Wagner … as voiced by a KBUU volunteer.

No comment from the LA County district attorney on what exactly was the reason for the search warrant.
But it was apparent from the actions of the district attorney investigators what was not being sought.
Jefferson Wagner works in the movie industry as a special effects coordinator … and has dozens of movie credits for pyrotechnics and gunfire.
He has been very low key about that job … which involves storage and use of guns and explosives.
In the several hours that we observed the search warrant being executed yesterday … there were no weapons recovered.
And there were no obvious precautions being taken by the district attorney investigators that would have been typical at a gun raid …
That leads to informed speculation … and it is only speculation … that the search warrants were executed as part of a public integrity probe.
State law requires that a person reside in inside the city limits of a city if he or she runs for office.
Wagner has lived outside Malibu for years.
Before the last election … he publicly announced that he was purchasing a condominium with in Malibu city limits to share with his daughter.
Wagner said he would live there … in full knowledge of the legal requirements that he lived in Malibu if he were to serve as a city council member here.
There have been rumors … not confirmed by the District Attorney’s Office … that Wagner was being investigated to see if he complies with the residency requirement.
Yesterday … more than a dozen investigators raided his longtime house outside city limits … his business on Pacific Coast Highway inside city limits … and a third location.
We don’t know what that their location is.
As for Wagner … he engaged with some friendly chitchat with KB UU radio yesterday..
But no public comments from him for the record.
