New Malibu Dial A Ride For Seniors – 424 346-8444

Malibu has found a new Dial-A-Ride operator.
Starting next Monday …. the low-cost transit service for seniors will be offered by Ventura Transit System … a privately owned company based in Camarillo.
The city subsidizes rides for Malibu residents… age 60 and older … to get to and from doctor appointments, grocery stores, and the Senior Center.
Shuttle rides are also offered twice a day healthcare facilities in Santa Monica, UCLA Westwood and the West LA VA Hospital.
The fare is $1 or $2 for trips inside the City … $4 for trips outside the City.
Malibu Taxi used to be the contract carrier … they suddenly went out of business.
