Malibu Seawolves To Regenerate Next Monday

Malibu’s municipal swimming pool reopens to the public next Monday.
Actually … the pool at Malibu High School has been open for school use for three weeks.
But the city was not able to get its recreation supervisors and lifeguards back to the pool until next Monday.
The Christmas holidays complicated the staffing issue.
Whatever the cause … the pool is open again for public use at 5 p-m Monday.
The two month shutdown has been very hard on the Malibu Seawolves swim team.
The privately-funded club for young swimmers has hit hard financial times … because it uses the city pool.
A spokeswoman for the club says the Seawolves swim team needs as many members as possible to keep the program open in Malibu.
Sign up is now available from the City website.
