Malibu Pot Delivery Will Be On Your Ballot

Malibu residents will apparently be voting … again … on marijuana.
Yvonne de la Rosa is operator of the 99 High Tide Cooperative … a marijuana store … one of the two marijuana concessions in Malibu.
She told the city council last night that her paid petition gatherers have received enough signatures to force a vote on the issue of allowing her store … plus her competitor … to deliver marijuana to Malibu residences.
POT DE LA ROSA :17 QQQQ:
“They gathered over two thousand signatures… they only needed about 860 …
“They were gathered in record-breaking time … heh heh … record-breaking time.
“And it just shows again the will of the people of Malibu … what we need here in Malibu.”
The city council voted 3 to 2 earlier this year to continue prohibitions on the delivery of marijuana to medical patients or the elderly in Malibu.
Operators of the two licensed marijuana dispensaries in Malibu say they are the only ones observing the ban … and marijuana dealers from elsewhere are ignoring it.
If enough signatures were gathered … as apparently has happened … the marijuana delivery vote will be this November.
