Malibu Middle School and High School Reopen Today – Expect A Traffic Jam Of Joy On MVD

Malibu High School is welcoming its students back on campus today.
School will start at 1 o’clock … a 90 minute orientation session for the return of actual classes afetr spring break.
And there will be severe health procedures.
Students will have to take a daily health assessment at home … done by parents.
After completing an online questionaire … parents will get a timestamped computer screen.
They will have to take a picture of that green computer screen … bring that picture on their smartphones … to the school.
Or … a printout.
Students will get their temperatures taken on arrival.
Parents are being instructed … “do not drop off student until they have had their temperature taken … and show the green screen … to school staff.”
Students will have to wear a mask at all times … observe social distancing … and stay inside their limited group.
Class today and tomorrow consists of familiarization … for the classroom instruction that spring break starts next week.
Parents are being asked npt to arrive to pick up their kids before 3.
Middle school kids will be waiting for their rides up at the new parking lot … up the hill at the east end of the campus.
High school kids will supposedly be waiting up at the Boys and Girls Club area … and along Morning View Drive.
