The Malibu Beach Inn has been ranked as the Number One Hotel in Southern California.
The award comes from Condé Nast Traveler … in its annual Readers’ Choice Awards.
Malibu Beach Inn is a 47-room boutique hotel offering breathtaking oceanic panoramas, refined design, and luxury experiences inspired by Malibu’s effortless ambiance.
So says the press release.
You may know it better for its private traffic light … that the hotel managed to con Caltrans into installing.
The hotel is still trying to convince city hall to let it remove its parking lot … so it can build a swimming pool.
Cars would be parked across the PCH … adding to the effortless ambience of Malibu on Pacific Coast Highway for thosuands of Malibu residents …
So far … the overwhelming reaction amongst Malibu residents has been … negative.
