Malibu High Kids Avoid Truancy, Campaign For Gun Control

Last Friday … Malibu high school students avoided playing hooky as they campaigned for gun control.
it was part of the nationwide walkout and protest … to demand better gun control laws … on the anniversary of the massacre at Columbine High School.
Students used their morning snack break to walk to the school’s football field, and stand silently in a circle.
They walked back to class on time.
The logistics of being so far out of town made traveling to the regional student protest in Santa Monica a bad idea … students told KBUU news.
