Local persons and agencies that help the homeless have scheduled the first Homeless Connect Day of the year … for May 30th … at the Malibu Civic Center.

And Los Angeles County supervisors on Tuesday approved a 402 million dollar spending plan for next year to widen and intensify its fight against homelessness.
