14 air quality monitoring stations are going in … at school district properties in Malibu.
The superintendent of the Santa Moncia Malibu Unified School District has sent a letter to parents.
Ben Drati says air quality has been Good or Moderate in Malibu since the fire.
The district has installed air monitors at all of its school sites in Malibu.
School officials can check in real-time on a daily basis for any changes in air quality specific to each school …. and adjust activities accordingly.
Fourteen monitors have been installed between the four schools … and their data will be posted on each school website.

Drati says he is conculring with the Malibu Facilities District Advisory Committee,, along with teachers, staff and administrators regarding concerns that may arise as the cleanup continues in our school neighborhoods.
