- = Malibu is going to get 5 hours of rain today …and maybe 5 inches of rain Satuerday,
- = The M R C A has tested … and they say there is no radioactivity from the Woolsey Fire.
- = The C P U C admits it needs thousands of power pole inspectors … it has 19.
- = Verizon says it can’t inspect its power pole cables …. because they are in bad shape.
- = And the deadline is just a few hours away to sign up for debris removal … as if you need a reminder.

The president of the California Public Utilities Commission says the state is unprepared for what is happening in its mountains … in terms of climate change and wildfires. And in news from down the coast … a company in Santa Monica is now renting electric go carts.
Some guy is renting the carts out of parking lot, according to the Santa Monica Daily Press newspaper.
Santa Monica has been grappling with pedestrians getting hit by electric scooters on the ocean front bike lanes and walkways.
Electric scooters are illegal on the beach.
So are the go carts.
The Santa Monica Daily Press reports that hasn’t stopped the owner of Gogogo … who is renting out go carts to adults … and even to children.
He says he will keep renting the gocarts until the city enforces its ban.
