NEWSCART 06585 RESEARCH QQQ GET TO THE BOTTOM LINE FACTS.

WOODRUFF: “We are looking at the entire Woolsey fire incident in the full study. So we’ll take a look at the early notification and communications issues, we will look at evacuations issue, we will look at the response components, we’ll look at the repopulation elements that occurred, and long-term recovery.

“It will hopefully allow us to come up with some solid recommendations for changes in policies and procedures…”
REPORTER:  “Are you going to ask about the lack of county fire trucks out here?

WOODRUFF: “We will ask about all the elements, and we are again doing this is a very transparent and non-biased basis.

“So, we want to understand all the resource issues that existed…”

REPORTER: “Are you going to get cooperation from County fire and OES, the people who made these decisions??

WOODRUFF: “So far, we really have we have not.

“We have not really run into any particular problems.

“Again, we are only at the early stages of our analysis, and representing a number of academic professionals, we are very careful on how we are asking these questions, we just want to get to the bottom line facts.”
