Drive Thru Testing Concludes At Civic Center – Testing Alternatives Remain In LA, Ventura County

The last day of drive thru testing … today at Malibu City Hall.
The urgent need for immediate testing may have abated.
More and more hospitals and clinics offer tests … and more importantly … most Californians have been practicing extreme social distancing for more than the 14 day incubation period.
LA County’s mass-scale drive thru testing program continues … and is available to Malibu residents.
Appointments are being taken for people who have medical reasons to need them.
General public tests … not yet available.
L A County officials say you should contact your first provider … your personal doctor or clinic … for referral for a test.
If you do not have insurance … call the county at 2-1-1 for information about how to be assigned one.
Tests are also being offered over the hill … in Ventura Count.

One of the closest hospitals to Malibu is Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks.
They are conducting testing …. and they have an interactive web questionaire posted online for people who worry about having the virus … and whether they need a test.
