County Warns About Vaccine Peddlers, Selling Access To Covid 19 Vaccine

If you get an e-mail promising a Covid 19 vaccination … for a fee … you are a mark for being ripped off.
And that warning comes as at least one person in Malibu was getting ready a campaign to sell inoculations by a doctor … who would deliver the vaccines at people’s homes.
No one is authorized to do that … right now … says L A County officials.
They sent out an advisory yesterday ….warning that individual doctors do not have access to the vaccine.
Over the weekend … a website appeared and was soliciting credit card payments to have the doctor make a house call with the precious vaccine.
The web site quickly disappeared.
So far … L A County has administered about 670 thousand doses of the vaccine … but there are 10 million people in the county.
The word from L-A county health and the sheriff … do not fall for a scam.
Unless it it’s your insurance company … the county or other official agency … there is a very good chance that an offer of a vaccination is a scam.
