CHP Traffic Enforcement Effort Thwarted By Blogger

L A County sheriff’s deputies say they wrote 160 traffic tickets on Saturday … and the California Highway Patrol wrote dozens more … during another collaborated traffic enforcement effort.
And Sunday … C H P officers were dealing with a large motorcycle rally in the local area.
Numerous incidents of lawbreaking were happening spread across the area at the same time … a C H P officer told KBUU.
During the Operation Safe Canyons show of force … tickets were written for speed, unsafe turns, failing to stop for red lights, crossing double yellow lines, cell phone violations, equipment violations, and illegal parking.
An inland empire car club was planning to stage a ride up P C H Saturday … but apparently called that off when word leaked out that the sheriff and C H P was waiting for them.
A local blogger published details about the pending operation.
The car club went elsewhere.
