Big Malibu Restaurants Got Big Paycheck Protection Program Loans

As you may have heard on the national news … a group called the Small Business Association has released the federal government’s list … names of businesses that have received emergency Paycheck Protection Program loans.
These are loans … which probably will turn into federal grants … designed to keep people employed.
Among major PPP recipients in Malibu are several familiar businesses.
Nobu … the Malibu Conference Center … and Saddle Peak LLC all received PPP loans of between 2 and 5 million dollars.
The Malibu Beach Inn … and at least rehab center in central Malibu … got between 1 and 2 million dollars.
Dukes … the Shoho Little Beach House … Moonshadows and several other recovery centers got between 350 thousand and one million dollars.
Again … these were emergency loans to keep employees working.
And this is a very partial list .. as any companies are hidden under anonymous limited liability corporate shells.
