The posh Bel-Air Bay Club has been sued by a prominent L-A family … blamed for allowing an heir to the Superior Oil company fortune to die of heat prostration.
Katherine Keck says Bel Air Bay Club attendants watched as her son … William Keck the Third … fell ill … laid down on a locker room floor with a heat-related injury … and was ignored for three hours.
Another employee entered the clubhouse after three hours and demanded that 9-1-1 be called.
No comment yesterday from the defendant.
Keck was a commercial real estate broker in Santa Monica …. and was on the board of directors of the William Keck Charitable Foundation.
