The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has a new app for your phone.
The department … which serves as Malibu’s Police Department … will post its latest news and alerts on the app.
Even crime maps.
The LA sheriffs app allows people to submit anonymous tips to the department, and file a crime report from the convenience of a Smartphone.
The LA sheriffs Department app is available at the Apple Store or Google Play Store if you search for “Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department” to download.
It’s not clear how the LA sheriffs department app Will interface with the city of Malibu’s emergency app … called Everbridge … and the LA County fire Department app … pulse point.
