CHP IDs Fake Motorcycle Cops

Written by on August 30, 2018

The motorcycle guards who paralyzed traffic in Malibu last week have been caught … after a Malibu resident chased them up Pacific Coast Highway … taking pictures.

LA County sheriff’s deputies and the California Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident … but said it’s unlikely that citations can be issued because police officers did not witness the lawbreaking.

Photos shot by the resident plainly show the license plates and faces of the fake motorcycle cops … who were impersonating officers as they stopped traffic for an exotic car club to perform stunts on the highway.

Morning rush hour drivers were infuriated … last Thursday.

These fake cops have licenses to escort funerals … and the California Highway Patrol has contacted the security company … called Southwest Patrol … to let them know that the behavior was unacceptable.

These licenses do not allow them to speed .. to go up center medians … or to stop traffic that has green lights.

It’s not clear if any official action can be taken.

The car club was called the Italian Stampede … they had advertised a road rally from Malibu to Monterey.
