Massive Hotel Complex Going In On Las Posas Rd – Ventura County Star

In news from up the coast … the closest big shopping center to western Malibu is getting a massive new set of hotels.
The vacant lot off Las Posas Road near the 101 Freeway … next to the Camarillo Premium Outlets center … will be home to two hotels.
This is according to the Ventura County Star.
One … a “Home2 Suites by Hilton” with 122 rooms … and an Embassy Suites hotel with 155 rooms.
The Embassy Suites will stand four stories tall and include a swimming pool, dine-in restaurant and conference center.
A big conference center … 17,500 square feet …
That’s capacity to fit 750 seated guests and even more for standing events.
Drainage ditches are being rearranged right now … real construction will start after that.
The twin hotels will open in 2 and a half years … reports the Ventura County Star.
All this … 20 miles up the coast from Malibu.
