Expect Closures Between PCH And 101

If your business or pleasure takes you to Ventura or Oxnard today … be aware that the road will be closed for a few minutes.
The second stage of the Amgen tour of California will see about 130 bicyclists race from the Ventura Harbor east to Camarillo.
The bike race crosses the Malibu access routes … between the 101 and P C H … basically at the railroad tracks.
Should be a big crowd of spectators.
Rice Avenue … the link between P C H and the 101 freeway … will be blocked with the racers between PCH and the railroad tracks.
This will likely be between at around 11:30 a.m. to noon or so.
Remember … there will be a big crowd of spectators on Rice Avenue in the strawberry fields.
The race starts today in downtown Ventura … crosses the strawberry fields east to Camarillo … then winds north … and again West through Ventura to finish going up the hill on Gibraltar Road new Santa Barbara.
