(B): It may set neighbor against neighbor.

The dark skies have all but vanished … as new security system after new set of bright landscaping lights have been installed.
The city’s Dark Skies Ordinance goes up for final approval before the Malibu city council tonight.
It will rely on an outreach program to educate people that lights have to be turned off by 11 … they have to be pointed down … and they cannot shine on your neighbors property.
the existing rules.
The new Dark Skies Ordinance will rely on residents to call in complaints … for enforcement.
And that cannot be done anonymously.

Also on the agenda tonight … spending $24,000 to bring in freeway service patrol tow trucks to Malibu … seven hours per week day.
The city might decide to pay for tow trucks on weekends … or for more than nine hours per weekday.
And … School superintendent Ben Drati will address traffic concerns and other issues related to the relocation of 200 elementary school students from Juan Cabrillo elementary to the point doom elementary school campus.
That will be at 6:30 tonight.
