A large southerly swell will move into the waters Wednesday
evening.
Surf will build to 8 to 11 feet on south-facing beaches, especially from Point Dume west past Zuma Beach.
The surf will begin to subside Friday afternoon and evening.

Very dangerous heat and elevated fire danger expected for much of Southern California late this week into this weekend…
During Friday and Saturday, high temperatures will likely be
between 100 and 112 degrees in many valley locations, in the
lower elevations in the mountains.
Many daily high temperature records are likely to be broken
both days.
Highs in Malibu will be in the 90s late this week.
Overnight lows along the coast will be in the 70s.
