18-Wheeler Crashes At Broome Beach Late Tuesday Night

An 18-wheeler truck and two passenger vehicles crashed late last night on Pacific Coast Highway east of Mugu Rock last night.
The crash was reported just after 10 on the coast highway near Thornhill Broome Beach .. about 15 miles west of Trancas.
A semi-trailer was on its side … so was a Ford Ranger pickup.
A Jeep Rubicon was also involved int he crash.
One person was trapped in the wreckage … two others hurt.
The C H P says two people were rushed to the Ventura County Medical Center with major injuries.
Traffic was blocked in both directions for more than a half hour.
The overturned big truck did not spill its fuel.
It’s not clear why the truck was on Pacific Coast Highway … which is closed to large trucks except those making local deliveries.
