MHS Car Space Gets Another Haircut

Malibu High School has a drastically shrunken drop off and pick up zone … starting this week.
Fences have been moved out … all the way to the sidewalk … in front of the old administration building.
That leaves room for fewer than six cars … and to top it off … some construction crew has installed a water shut off valve right in the new drop off area.
It’s surround by bollards … and it blocks what could be a lane.
School district officials note that the green zones on Morning View Drive are available for drop off and pick up.
Those lanes are already jammed on a twice daily basis.
It was already bad when there was room for 25 cars to pull of Morning View.
Now … room for 6.
Meaning … Morning View will be as bad as PCH this spring.
First world problems to be sure … but still … who determined this was satisfactory??
