Malibu Man Dies On NY Eve In Aspen

A 26 year old man from Malibu was found dead New Years Eve in Aspen Colorado.
Police there are not releasing any details … except to say the man was found non-responsive at 9 o’clock Monday night at the Hotel Jerome … in Aspen.
Aspen Police Sgt. Rick Magnuson told the local newspaper that the man died Monday.
The investigation continued yesterday and today … and there is no indication of violence … police said.
The identity of the man has not been released yet by the Pitkin County Coroner’s Office.
Aspen police are working on a press release that is likely to go out on today.
A police spokesman says the man was in Aspen with family and appears to have been to Aspen “many times.”
The Aspen Daily News reports that the hotel’s manager says he was “filled with sadness” over the incident … and said the hotel’s staff’s mission now is to take care of the family and anything that they need, to give them support and privacy..
